Day 21 - Nowhere to Pause

Narrow paths, country roads, muddy fields and lakeside shores paint the picture of a highly varied day. Though nice views persist, it takes forty kilometres to reach a bakery, the first place to recharge along the way. Having known of the lack of basic shops or cafés beforehand and thus prepared with food for the road, the long day turns into a strenuous yet manageable one. The day dwindles out over a glass of wine in the only establishment of a small and calm French town.
